If you require help beyond documentation, or are facing a problem there are several ways to get support.
If you require help or support with SQLWATCH, the recommended way is to join our Slack Channel. This way if we solve particular problem the entire community can benefit or even help solve it
Slack is a collaboration platform (similar to the good old IRC) where the SQL Community has its own place. It is free to join but you will require an invite. The Community is managed by fantastic Chrissy LeMaire from dbatools and you can obtain an invite on their website: https://dbatools.io/slack/
Whilst our SQL Community is truly fantastic, sometimes we may want a private, one to one chat. This could due to confidential data having to be shared, object names, execution plans or simply the issue is urgent and needs sorting out ASAP.
I do get a lot of emails with suggestions, questions, features requests. Whilst I always try to address everyone, a free dedicated support is not sustainable in a long term which is why I am offering paid support plans.
Remember, SQLWATCH is always open source and free, even for commercial use. There is never any limit on the number of monitored instances or functionality and the source code is always open. Premium Support is optional.
